Pratham is the largest nonprofit organization working successfully
towards eradicating child-illiteracy in India. While forming important
partnerships in the US, and working with local communities and
governments at all levels in India, they have launched Read India
program to teach 60 million children basic reading & math skills
within three years (by 2010).
Pratham has chapters in many cities in the US.
