Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation is a non-profit, non-political, non-
religious 501-C3 charity organization. It is a people’s movement
addressing children ages 4 to 15. The teacher is a specially
trained local youth with a high school education. The curriculum
includes basic language, and math skills. In addition great stress
is placed on cultural values, health and hygiene. The cost to run
an Ekal Vidayalaya is a meager $1 a day or $365 per year.
