HomeSpun: Smithsonian Indian American Heritage Project is a
national initiative chronicling stories of immigrants from India
and later generations in the United States. Dr. Pawan Dhingra,
the curator, talks about the project, its significance, and invites
the Indian American community to share their story. Visitors to
the nation's largest museum complex will be able to view
displays about Indian American history and learn the roles that
Indian Americans have played in shaping American society.
