The South Asian Heart Center is a non-profit response
to the epidemic of heart disease among South Asians,
who are at a four-fold higher risk of developing heart
disease. The mission of the Center is to reduce the
high incidence of coronary artery disease through a
comprehensive, culturally appropriate program
incorporating education, advanced screening, lifestyle
changes, and heart health coaching.
Ashish Mathur
Prior to leading the South Asian Heart Center effort,
Ashish has over 25 years of experience in the software industry.
During this time, he has been a succcessful entrepreneur and an
executive at many technology companies including Selectica,
Pure Atria, Network Equipment Technologies, and ROLM
Corporation. Ashish holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering
from the Indian Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Computer
Science from the University of Southern California.
