Radha Basu, is the Founder of the Anudip Foundation, a
social enterprise that she has set up in IndIa to create
economic opportunities for the marginalized.
Radha has also established Jhumki Basu Foundation to carry
on the work that her daughter Dr. Jhumki Basu had started for
the inner city schools here in the U.S., before her tragic death
a few years ago.
Radha is a leading woman entrepreneur and a pioneer in the
Indian software business, who famously took Hewlett
Packard to India in 1985 and set up the first software center of
any multinational in Bangalore. She has won numerous
prestigious awards, and has been profiled in publications like
the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, and Economic Times.
