...a show about giving
         since 2007
Organization: AIM for Seva
Guest: Vijay Kapoor
Coordinator, AIM for Seva, SF/Bay Area
Founder, Arsha Vidya Center

AIM for Seva is promoting education in the remote
and tribal regions of India by providing
Homes near schools.

India is home to 17% of the world’s population, which
translates to more than 1.2 billion people. 70% or close to
800 million live in rural areas, and out of that possibly a 100
million live in remote and tribal regions, for whom access
to education, healthcare, and basic necessities remains a
daunting challenge. There are many organizations tackling
the challenge head on, each with its own unique approach.
AIM for Seva is one such organization. (Founded by
Swami Dayanand Saraswati, AIM for Seva has Special
Consultative Status with the Economic & Social Council of
the United Nations.)
Vijay Kapoor, an IT professional turned spiritual teacher,
talks about the initiative, and about the Arsha Vidya
Center, which he has founded in the Bay Area, in close
association with the organization (AIM for Seva).
